Are you facing a difficult or unusual experience?
Would you like to speak with others, who are living through a similar experience?
Are you looking for someone who can help you set up or facilitate a support group?
Is your support group experiencing some difficulties?

There are times when anyone could feel lonely and isolated with unusual, difficult, or upsetting circumstances - for example a health condition, the experience of caring for someone, being a younger or older person, belonging to a particular social group. At such times, it may be helpful to meet and speak with others who have a similar experience.

A support group is a weekly, fortnightly or monthly gathering of people with a shared experience. It is an opportunity for you to tell others what it is like for you to live with your situation, and to hear from others what it is like for them to live with their own. Support groups often find external facilitation helpful. And all support groups can run into difficulties at some point. When this happens, an experienced facilitator may help the group find its way forward again.

I am a qualified professional with considerable experience of setting up and facilitating support groups. To learn more about me and my work, please see the pages at ‘General information’. You could also call me or send an enquiry. All enquiries are free of charge.
